APC Stakeholders Adopt Yaris Network for Tinubu’s 2027 Re‑election Campaign

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have formally adopted the Yaris Network as the support structure for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections, a party official said on Saturday in Abuja.

The adoption took place at a stakeholders’ meeting held in the FCT, where party leaders from the six geopolitical zones convened to discuss strategic plans for the next general elections.

The Yaris Network, a political support organisation within the APC, was endorsed to serve as the vehicle for mobilising grassroots support for President Tinubu’s re‑election bid.

APC National Vice Chairman for the South‑South, Dr. Daniel Bwala, said the endorsement reflects the party’s commitment to building broad‑based structures to support its campaign activities.

He described the Yaris Network as a platform “for unity, mobilisation and effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels.”

The Yaris Network was established within the APC to mobilise support for President Tinubu’s administration and policy agenda.

It has been active in coordinating campaign activities, engaging party supporters, and organising events that align with the party’s strategic priorities.

Political stakeholders from various states and party organs attended the meeting, including representatives from state chapters, regional caucuses and interest groups.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for stakeholders to align on the party’s approach to the 2027 elections, where Tinubu is expected to seek a second term in office.

Dr. Bwala said the Yaris Network will coordinate efforts aimed at strengthening grassroots support for the president’s re‑election bid.

“The adoption of the Yaris Network is aimed at consolidating our strategic engagement with party structures and supporters across the country,” he said.

He added that the stakeholders’ meeting provided “a platform for dialogue and consensus building” among members of the APC ahead of the election cycle.

The party official reiterated the APC’s intention to build effective support mechanisms to engage its membership and wider electorate.

The formal adoption of an organised network such as the Yaris Network suggests the party is seeking structured mechanisms for mobilisation and coordination as it prepares for the 2027 elections.

Support networks within political parties are often used to organise campaign activities, engage stakeholders in different regions and consolidate support among party members.
